Originally from Miami, Florida she now lives in the Atlanta, Georgia, area. She obtained a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations from Florida A&M University and a Master's degree in Human Resources (HR) Management from Nova Southeastern University. LaShawn is also a Society of Human Resource Management Senior Certified HR Professional (SHRM) and holds a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion certification from the University of South Florida.
